All leaders going to camp must be familiar with Safeguarding and at each camp the director takes lead responsibility for any issues arising. Although you are never alone at camp, with an experienced admin team available to support you, it is very important you attend training sessions and meetings camp puts on as well as being familiar with the group leaders handbook.
