We have 3 more Saturday training sessions. Numbers signing up have almost doubled recently but, whilst we appreciate that it will not be possible for some, we seriously would like AS MANY AS POSSIBLE to attend one of the events – we’ll even give you a certificate! To be clear; this is not just for first time group leaders or even just group leaders. Anyone going to camp in a staff role will benefit. Please go to:

Camp Abererch Weekend Prayers

3rd and 4th March. Please pray as a team go back to Camp to follow up with the children of Abererch and their families. After a great weekend last December we are going back again to meet with the people of Abererch. We’re running a Saturday afternoon session with the teens and a Family Service on Sunday afternoon at the church in Abererch village. This is aimed at the younger children and their parents. We would value your prayers for the weekend:

For the last elements of preparation

For the new faces on the team

For building on the gifts that God has blessed the team with

For the vicar in Abererch, Janice Gourdie, as she shares God with the village

For the Family Service event in the village church

To build on the relationships with the villagers which have been developed over the years.

For a positive response from teens

That the families would also get involved along with their children

For the continuity to the Camp Abererch week in August

For Duncan, Tristan, Jodie, Kylie, Jill & Martin as they look after the weekend

That we would accept what God has for us to do and so be a blessing to Him

We thank God for the privilege of giving us another chance to share His love with those in the area around Camp.

Saturday 10th March at 7pm at Hoylake Chapel – the second MCYC:LIVE event: rise to the Challenge. YOU will be challenged: to do what you’ve never done before; to be a disciple; to trust God fully and to make a difference. You can’t be challenged unless you’re there!
